Internet Explorer Not Responding?

Internet Explorer is the default and reliable software that comes pre-installed on every Windows OS. Although, this browser is widely used and does almost everything one can do on the internet. There is a major issue that some people face and that is the Internet Explorer Not Responding problem that  freezes or locks up the Internet Explorer and turns blind to all the commands, clicks and the like.

There are some solutions that you can try to get rid of this menace and in this post we will provide you tips that will helps you to restore your Internet Explorer to working condition.

1. Using Internet Tools

You can easily address this issue by using the inbuilt “Internet Tool” provided by Windows which can be accessed through control panel and will allow you to “Repair” your internet browser to working condition. This can be achieved by following these easy 5 steps”

Step 1: Run the MSconfig screen It can be done by pressing the Windows button on the left lower corner and then going to RUN program, typing in msconfig and pressing enter.

Once you do this, you will be presented with a dialogue box which has a list of software that start automatically when you stat up your computer.

From the list “disable” all of the programs except for essential services such as your anti-virus software and firewall and Restart your PC.

Step 2: When your computer is restarted you can go to  Widows Task Manager simply by pressing “Cnrt+Alt+del”. Once task manager pops up on your computer screen End Task the “iexplorer.exe” on the list of tasks running. If that does not close the Explorer move on to step 3.

Step 3: Go-to control panel by clicking on Start Menu and then Control panel .

Step 4: Click “Add/Remove Programs.” Double-click the Microsoft Internet Explorer icon and select “Internet Tools.”

Click “Repair Internet Explorer” and press “OK.” Microsoft Windows will scan your copy of Internet Explorer for errors or bugs and fix them.

Step 5:  Don’t start you Internet Explorer just now. First restart your computer to apply the changes  and when the computer restarts you are ready to use your Windows Internet Explorer.

2. Registry Method

If te above procedure doesn’t seem to solve your problem you can try this simple method which has solved the Internet Explorer Not Responding for many users:k

Step 1: Click the start menu (Windows Button) located on the left corner of the screen and then Start the program run. Type in Regedit and click “Run”or simply press enter.

Step 2:  Go-to

Step 3: Wen you get there you can see few folder which are actually the keys that are in numbers and alphabets. Just delete all of it and you will be able to use you Inter Explorer again.
